    Community Room & Library

    Final work renovating the exterior of the front of the building has started. All interior work has been completed. We are awaiting final approval from Hackney Council in order to start using the Community Room and Library once Transco complete work to the building’s water and gas supply.

    Footy Highlights

    The Grasmere Football team took part in a cluster schools football tournament at Bsix College this week. The tournament involved 4 other schools, playing a mini league among the schools. We came second in the league and just missed out winning by 1 point.

    We played 8 matches, winning 3, drawing 5, losing 0 and conceding 1 goal.

    Results were: Jubilee 0 Grasmere 1 (goal scored by George), Harrington Hill 0 Grasmere 4, (1 goal scored by Alex and 3 by Jaidon) Grasmere 0 Tyssen 0, Sir Thomas Abney 0 Grasmere 0 Grasmere 2 Jubilee 0 (goals scored by Alex and Rajan), Grasmere 1 Harrington Hill 1(goal scored by Jaidon), Grasmere 0 Tyssen 0, Grasmere 0 Sir Thomas Abney 0

    The Grasmere team were: Max, Rajan, Jack, Tristan, Jaidon, Alex, George, Eric. Well done to all the players! Many thanks to Marcel for all his hard work.

    Christmas Lunch

    Children will be eating their Christmas lunch on Tuesday 18 December. The menu will be as follows: Roast Turkey and trimmings or Roasted vegetable & Cranberry Tart, Roast Potatoes, Roast Parsnips, Baton Carrots, Brussel Sprouts, Christmas Ice Cream or Christmas Pudding.

    Winter Festival

    I am sure you will all agree that Tuesday night's performance was excellent. Many thanks to everyone who contributed with the performance! £766 was raised by ticket sales and will go towards subsidising three arts projects next term: English Pocket Opera with Year 1 and 2, African Dance and Drumming with Year 3 and 5, Samba Project with Year 4 and 6

    Raffle a big hit!
