Welcome to GrasmereGrasmere is a multicultural school where traditions, religions and beliefs are respected and celebrated. It is a happy school where everybody is cared for and loved.

Our school community is dedicated to providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment where all the children can develop their skills and talents in a variety of ways and to the best of their abilities.

We want the children to feel confident, to see themselves as successful learners, and to have responsible attitudes towards themselves and others.Education begins at home - parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. By working together with parents we try to build a partnership which will benefit all the children. We encourage parents to play an active role in the life of our school. We listen to and welcome parentsí advice and look forward to your support.

The Governors work closely with all the staff and parents to ensure that the educational opportunities of all the children are protected and enhanced so that the children leaving Grasmere can prosper in all they do.

We have exciting plans to develop the school and the curriculum we offer, and we continually endeavour to raise the standard of achievement of all our pupils. Prospective parents are always very welcome to attend our weekly Sharing Assembly. Please phone the school secretary to let us know that you would like to come to a Sharing Assembly and then make your way to the school hall on any Friday morning at 9.10am. Visitors are usually shown around the school immediately after the Friday assembly by some of our oldest pupils. If you would like to make an appointment to meet me, please do.

    I look forward to seeing

    you.
